Let’s Talk!
Opening conversations about international students’ mental health
For international students, by international students
Being an international student can be an exciting journey. However, we know that it can also be quite scary and stressful to navigate through this journey alone. Well, now you don’t have to.
Our organisation started from the experiences of Master of Counselling international students who are passionate about supporting international students' mental health.
How We Can Help You
Mind the Gap Connect provides a supportive environment where you can freely share and express yourself in a non-judgemental and accepting group.
We understand how difficult it can be to only use words to express ourselves. Our workshops give you the chance to share your thoughts and feelings through fun and creative activities. Don’t worry, you don’t need to have any artistic skills.

“I love the creative designs from each week, you were offering different types of strategies to let me learn about myself and think about things I normally won’t think on my own. Thank you so much!”

“I would recommend this program to other international students, it’s super fun :) The creative activities helped us reflect.”
-Charlotte, Monash University
"I loved the fact that all the facilitators were welcoming, warm and inclusive throughout. Every week, they covered sufficient topics and activities associated with it.”
-Deeksha, Monash University
"The drawing activities helped me relive the old moments. I would absolutely recommend this program to every international student, even the ones that aren't homesick like me. It helps us reflect and learn more about ourselves."
